         Perimeter = 2(L+B) = 2 (17/5 + 16/3) = 2(51 +80)/15 =

                              =262/15 = 17 7/15

Ans. 4 1/3 – 1 3/6 = 13/3 – 9/6 = 13/3 – 3/2 = (26 -9)/6=17/6

Ans. 1-5/12 = (12-5)/12 = 7/12

Total time worked: 6 x 7/2 = 21.

25.A trunk runs 8 km using 1 liter of petrol.  How much distance will it cover using 10 2/3 liters of petrol ?

Distance covered with 1 leter of petrol = 8 Km.

10 2/3 lidter petrol = 8 x 32/3 = 256/3

26.Raja walks 1 ½ meters in 1 second.  How much distance will the walk in 15 minutes?

 Ans.  1 ½ m in one sec. walk in 15 minutes

           3/2 x 60 x 15 = 1350

27. Rama can paint 1/4 at a house  in one Second. How much distance will he walk in 20 minutes ?

Ram in one day paint   ¼ th

Distance covered by ram in 20 minutes = 20 x 60 x ¼ =300 m
